It is extremelyh ard feedingmy 1 yr old?
SHe has always been a difficult kid to feed
Nowi ts become worse
Earlier we used to put on dvds to make her eat and she ate
Now its getting very hard
she's off her high chair we have to put her in her car seat, she keeps going back and forth and banging her head on the back of her seat, it takes two people to distract her to get food
we have tried skipping meals but she is just not interested in eating
She doesn't drink coz she doesn't have the hang of sipping from a cup so even getting water is a task
Her pediatrician says she's fine but every meal time is a task
SHe just moves her head away and then collects food in her mouth
ANy suggestions
no breast feeding, she never got on and no bottle off the bottle since 7 mts
Is she feeding herself. Maybe she doesn't want you to feed her anymore but she wants to feed herself. I used the gerber graduates with both my boys. They enjoyed them. If the pediatrician is fine with her weight than she's good to go. See about getting a booster seat and use it at the table...she might want to eat with you. Maybe she's not hungry. I always fed my children on demand (healthy food/snacks of course). She may be a snacker.
