What color curtains should in my living room if the walls are a blue-gray color?
The walls are a blue-gray color(glidden paint blue marina), we have a black couch, the ceiling is white, and the floor will be Pergo Red Oak. When you look for the complementary colors of blue marina, one of them is a light green. Would that look okay as a window scarf? I want a sheer white panel over the windows, and a black rod, but I don't know how the green would look...or if there is another color that would look better. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
The blue-gray is pretty neutral, so you can go with anything. But since you will have wood floors, you'll need an area rug in the seating area (at least a 5x7), Let that be your inspiration for the scarf color. Choose an accent color from the rug & repeat this color 5x's in your accessories - scarf, area rug, pillows, candles, wall decor. This pulls the whole room together.
