Why does my computer restart or shutdown for some reason or unintentionally?
I like to leave my pc on at night to download/upload torrent files, and it is unbelievably frustrating to wake in the morning to find out that my files only downloaded 10% rather than fully downloaded because the pc restarted or shutdown unexpectedly!
It just recently tried to shut down by itself, but then restarts, and gives option for starting windows in safe mode since the pc shut down unintentionally.

Does anyone have suggestions or ideas of what might be wrong?
ADDED DETAILS: i forgot to mention that my stupid hard drive is abnormally making ticking noises and also vibrates a lot.
I was gonna bet that your CPU heatsink was not securely mounted, but a messed up hard drive too, ouch! Check all your fans and add a system fan exhausting out the back if you do not have one.
Use a flashlight and have the side panel off and check both(?) in the P/S too!
