Cheap Horsepower/Torque tips?
Ok i have a 1972 El Camino and i am just trying to find out if there are any parts/tips for better performance for a reasonable price, meaning no i will not change to EFI, too expensive. anyway this is what i have
-Gm crate 350/290Hp engine w/ 326 Ft/lbs of torque
-Full length flowtech headers
-quick time performance electronic cutoffs
-Flex-a-lite electric fans
-full 2 3/4 inch exhaust with i believe 44 series flowmasters
-Holley electric fuel pump
-edelbrock RPM dual plane manifold
-one inch carb spacer (for some more low end torque)
-Pertronix Distributor
-MSD cap, rotor and wires
-Holley 670 CFM street avenger carb
-fram air hog air filter
because i have never put her on the dyno i am assuming i am in the range of 310 HP and 350 ft/lbs. is there anything else for some more power that is reasonably cheap?
i was looking at comp cam's thumpr cam. is it possible to put in a cam without removing the engine. like taking out the grille and radiator?
you can get a cam kit from summit pretty cheap. new heads and pistons will give you alot more power but thats not cheap.
