How do I take the wheels off my rolling File Cabinet?
I bought a great little File Cabinet, but I'd like to take off the wheels. I tried twisting, but that doesn't help. There's absolutely nothing to grab hold of. It's pretty much the leg of the cabinet, a plastic ring, and the metal wheel shaft with the wheel attached. Help!
I would take a pair of pliers, and try to pop them off with some leverage. Usually they are just pounded in and unscrewing will not help. Try the pliers on the stem of the metal wheel shaft and give it a quick little whack with a hammer, towards the leg of the cabinet to pop it out. Hope that helps.
